An Arrest Warrant has been issued against Sheikh Adan Ibrahim On Wednesday May 11, 2016, the Ethiopian Somali regional state president has declared Sheikh Adan Ibrahim and others as foreign criminal agents operating in the country and issued warrants for their arrest. Sheikh Adan Ibrahim was accused of engaging in criminal activities to cause war between the Dawa and Borana Zone and persuaded others to commit treason against the Ethiopian Somali regional State. It was alleged that Mr. Adan Ibrahim has been giving aid to outlawed organizations such as the O.L.F., O.N.L.F., and other criminal groups in the country. Due to threatening the safety of the Dawa Zone citizens, all 68 districts officials and other localities within the 11 counties’ jurisdictions have been ordered to arrest Mr. Adan Ibrahim and bring him to justice.
